Increase and Maintain Visitor Return Rates
Suggested by Susan Bodnarchuck of Holmlund Financial, “What are some ways to keep visitors returning to a website?”

Here are a few ways to decrease your Bounce rate (Re: Google Analytics) and keep visitors coming back for more!

  • Provide informative, concise, and relevant information about your product or service.
  • Ensure ease of navigation. Have clear, concise menus and links that direct visitors to the appropriate    information.
  • The technical “stuff”. Make sure that all your links work, that there is no incorrect or out-dated information, and that there are no spelling/grammar mistakes. Your credibility as an information source is negatively affected when these things aren't taken care of.
  • UPDATE! No one will keep returning to your website if the content is stagnant and never changes. Would you continue shopping at a clothing store who sells only one style of sweater year-round, year after year? Not likely.
  • Relate and connect with your audience on a more personal level. Creating a way to interact with your visitors within the website goes a long way (We will help you develop something, if you're not sure what to do).

Honourable Mention

Brenda Hyatt, Hyatt's Manion Lake Camp

Brenda uploads a “photo of the day” each and every day to keep visitors up-to-date on the goings-on at the camp all year around!
