Times Web Design is looking for a new member for our Electronic Publishing Department.

Candidates should have:
• Excellent computer knowledge
• Customer service background and skills
• Be aware of web standards, cross-browser compatibility & web related optimization techniques
• Good knowledge of HTML & CSS
• Familiarity with web & photo editors

Bonus Skills:
• PHP, JavaScript
• Macromedia Flash
• Graphic Design experience

Typical tasks include:
• Updating client websites
• Creating simple graphics
• Maintaining client lists and documentation
• Optimizing images/files for use on the web
• Communicating with existing or potential clients through telephone or email
• Researching and implementing Web standards/Search Engine Optimization (SEO) trends.

Applicants should be:
• Interested in learning & researching current web standards
• Self-motivated, and able to multi-task
• Detail oriented, and well organized
• Able to take initiative to be productive and efficient
• Excellent at communicating (written and oral)
• Able to function independently and still work well in a “team oriented” environment
